Convention panel work and a podcast in one fell swoop, and you the listener benefit! Birdy's more modern TV series incarnation is much better known, but here is where the alien-fightin'-space-cop sharing-a-body-with-a-human-civilian shenanigans all began. As is the case with a lot of Birdy media this OAV finishes out with the promise of more story to tell yet still has plenty of entertaining action within to satisfy a modern audience. All this plus a little grumbling about Kawajiri falling victim to the whims of the domestic market!
